Ascentral Partners

Our Experience

At Ascentral Partners, we have deep understanding of the Vietnamese Labour Code and procedural requirements in employment-related process. We advise both employers and employees, helping them understand their legal rights and obligations in the workplace. Our experience in the labour law space enables us to guide clients effectively in navigating and complying with the relevant regulations

What We Do

Labour Advice

We are highly experienced in assisting employees in cases of wrongful dismissal and advising corporate entities on compliance with local labour law in all employment-related matters, including recruitment, health and safety codes, pension funds, and incentive and bonus programmes. We aim to protect the rights and interests of both employees and employers while guiding them to follow current legal frameworks. We also assist companies with internal labour restructuring, engagement with grassroots trade unions, and unilateral termination of employment.

Labour-Related Agreements

Given Vietnam’s fast-changing regulatory landscape, Ascentral Partners is committed to supporting you in taking proactive steps to address labour-related issues and reduce potential disruptions to your business operations. Our services include providing legal recommendations; drafting, revising and finalising Internal Labour Rules, Codes of Ethics, Collective Labour Agreements, Labour Agreements, and NDAs. We also participate in negotiations with worker representatives or grassroots trade unions and facilitate the registration process for necessary documentation

Labour-Related Licensing Work

With an increasing number of expatriates being seconded or assigned to Vietnam, we have successfully obtained work visas, work permits, work permit exemptions, or temporary residence cards for experts, managers, technical workers, and stakeholders. We provide realistic and practical advice, including detailed timelines and cost estimates.

As mandated by the Vietnamese Labour Code, local companies must submit periodic reports to relevant authorities, such as the Department of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs. We assist our clients in preparing and submitting these reports, helping them manage their business operations effectively and avoid unnecessary administrative fines. With regular updates and close monitoring of the latest developments, our lawyers are proficient in labour compliance reporting and registration, reducing the bureaucratic burden on our clients.
